About Chris
Chris Seigler was born in Sanford, Florida and grew up in Maryville, Tennessee. He is a graduate of The University of Tennessee with a Bachelors degree in Business. He later completed an MBA from King University in Bristol, Tennessee and a Masters of Theology from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. These credentials look great on paper, but fail to show you the love that Chris has for dogs. As a Fear Free Certified, exclusively mobile dog groomer, Chris is known for working with nervous, aggressive, and senior dogs.
Chris attended Dog's Own Grooming school in Loveland, Colorado several years ago and soon after joined Victoria, his wife, as a professionally trained groomer at The Animal Doctor in Broomfield. Over a year later, Chris joined Collar Cuts as a mobile dog groomer. It became very clear to Chris that mobile grooming provides the most logical avenue to provide the best possible dog grooming services for both the dog and client. It is because of this that Chris is committed to offering the safest and most professional dog grooming services in Colorado, while also making it as affordable and accessible as possible.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys cooking, hiking, traveling, spending time with his wife and daughter, and overseeing the marketing portion of the business where he is obligated to write about himself in 3rd person while building the new website. Currently I, Chris, am handling the majority of the grooming as Victoria remains home to take care of our beautiful, perfect daughter, Addilyn, while also being pregnant with our son, Elijah.
About Victoria
Victoria was born and raised in Cleveland, Tennessee. She attended college in Johnson City, Tennessee at East Tennessee State University before transferring to the University of Tennessee in Knoxville to begin premed. Victoria would contemplate becoming a doctor or a veterinarian before settling in on a Bachelors degree in Animal Science. Victoria has spent the majority of her career in the animal care and animal products industries where she has spent several years as a veterinary technician and product developer for PetSafe.
Prior to Victoria and Chris getting married, she made a somewhat dramatic career change from developing and overseeing new products for PetSafe to learning how to groom dogs and cats. She first did this with PetCo as a grooming apprentice and would soon desire to not simply graduate from PetCo's training program, but become the best groomer that she could be. She would begin to study every piece of grooming material that exists and follow well known groomers like Jonathan David and Blake Hernandez. She would drag her husband (Chris...still not a groomer yet) to countless grooming conventions.
While Victoria has graduated from a corporate training program, she would rather you consider her self taught. She can make such a humble, even lowly, claim because in five years of professional pet grooming, Victoria's work has been recognized by hundreds of happy clients and other respected groomers such as master groomer, Jennifer Smith. Victoria is well-known along the front range of Colorado for her breed standard Airedale terrier trims. Her work has been featured in training programs with the Department of Agriculture of Colorado. Most recently, she has decided to pursue excellence in cat grooming as she will certify as a master cat groomer. Victoria is also a certified canine esthetician and can speak to some of the things that affect your pets skin and hair health.
Together, Victoria and Chris desire to serve Colorado families and their pets with excellent grooming services. They feel that they are uniquely qualified to not only offer the safest and best grooming services, but offer them in a way that will show you that you are not simply a means to an end, but rather you and your pet's satisfaction is the end that they seek.
